Circo de Carton
will be performing in Lo de Marcos on May 15, 2010. Admission is free to all. The Performance will be starting at 9:00pm in the Main Plaza. These guys are good, so plan to be there... you will not be disappointed. This event is being sponsored jointly by Casa de Los Ninos and Amigos de Lo de Marcos.

STERILIZATION CLINIC There is currently (thru Saturday May 20th) an Animal Sterilization
Clinic taking place in Lo de Marcos. Please bring your pets in the morning. There is no cost, except for what you might want to contribute to the efforts of P.E.A.C.E. , Amigos de Lo de Marcos, Casa de Los Ninos and the many volunteers working for a better, healthier and safer environment for animals AND people.

On a good taxi day—always Wednesdays mid afternoons—Mitch Schilling nets nearly two dozen takers. And they’re tickled to be part of the roll-out, getting a personal, open-air lift to the Lo de Marcos Senior Center (La Gente Grande or Tercer Edad) due south of pueblo centro.

The Primary School needs your help! Tickets for their Fundraising Event are now on sale at the school or by calling Dianna Rohde at 275.0305. The event will feature traditional foods and entertainment on Friday, March 20 from 6-9:00 PM and will be held at the School on Av. Luis Echeverria. Money raised will be used to prepare a temporary classroom for the rainy season and to install pavers on the grounds. Tickets are $100 Pesos. Please support this activity with your attendance!

Everarado Rodriguez approached me at Flamingo´s golf course, and asked if i knew anything about electric wheel chairs. Amigos De Bucerias was given a donation of one, and had a child who could not walk, and needed one. I told him that Ron DesChamp may know something about how to analyze the problem. Ron said lets pick it up, and take a look at it. I brought it back to Lo De Marcos, and Ron diagnosed the problem as being wired wrong, and a bad circuit breaker. He wired it right, and got it to run. However without the circuit breaker, the chair would lack a critical safety feature. We visited 7 electric, and electronic shops in P.V. without finding the switch. We returned the wheel chair, and gave Everarado another tip on where he might find it. Ron offered to have one sent from Canada if necessary. We are waiting to hear from Amigos de Bucerias, if we can be of more help. Our contact from Amigos de Bucerias is; President-Harold M. Sokolove.
