RECYCLE Committee Report to General Meeting

Committee Members.

Our committee met on February 2, 2009.  We choose our chairperson and discussed two projects which I am presenting to the general meeting.

• Project One: Construct 7 wire bins to collect recyclable plastics for use in Lo de Marcos.



We would like to request 1,500 pesos for the cost of the materials to make 9 wire bins




We would like to have the bin making party Wednesday, Feb.18 at 4pm at the Schilling’s Casa 119 Mangar.  VOLUNTEERS WELCOME!

• Project Two Includes:



Organize presentations at both the Primaria & Secondaria Escuelas about the materials we are collecting and why we are focusing on plastics for recycling,



Organizing the drivers who have volunteered to pick-up the bagged collected plastics and deliver bags to San Pancho Recycle Center, and




Organize sponsored collection sites – Each site will have a sponsor who will be responsible to bag the recyclable materials to have ready for pick up
