Where did all the Recycle Bins come from? 

Vicki Schilling, Chair of the Recycle Committee needed volunteers to build plastic recycling bins for Lo de Marcos.  In March, volunteers Jack & Daphne, Lupita, Gary, David, Dan, Jenny, Kathleen, Mitchell and Patrick cut, twisted and bent the first seven bins.



Last week – just in time for Semana Santa tourists – students from the Escuela Secondaria helped produce eleven more bins.   Thank you David, Jacque, Kathleen, Clark, Mitchell, Vicki, and Jenny for your help with bins; thank you Amigos for donating T-shirts to the students and a big thank you to these students: 

Yuselmi Garcia Hernandez (my neighbor and coordinator of the student brigade), Rosa Maria Goretti Palomera Rodriguez, Carmen Concepcion Renteria Perez, Jazmin Valladarez Castellon, Karina A. Parra Ocampo (our english speaking assistant), Arturo Segura Chavarin, and  Yony Castellon Ortega.
